Robert David "Rob" Daniel, 59, of Raleigh, NC, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009.

Rob was a native of Halifax County, the son of Mary Lee Morris Daniel and the late Willis Elton Daniel, who passed away May 26, 2009. He was a graduate of William R. Davie High School and was employed with Fred Anderson Toyota.

In addition to his mother, Rob is survived by his son, David R. Daniel, of Winter Park, FL; his sister, Dean Daniel of Greensboro, NC: his brother, Elton Daniel and his wife, Ethel, of Kailua, HI; and several nieces and nephews.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Sandra Mull officiating.
